Live search feature of PHPKB knowledge base software populates the search results as user types. Live Search enhances your search by applying an AJAX search, allowing your users to see search results without the need to redirect to a results page. The global search box at the top of every page is available on every page, as the user types into the search box, results will dynamically load below the search box.
Live search comparison with traditional search
The live search is faster and more user friendly as compared to traditional knowledge base search. In today's fast pace world, everyone wants fast results and through live-search users start receiving the results as they type. Moreover, they need not to navigate to a separate page to see the desired search results. Even though live search is very useful and provide results instantly, traditional search gives users number of search options to filter their search results.
